Travel to Ratchaprapha Pier
Visitors can reach the pier from Surat Thani, Krabi, or Phuket. This is the main departure point for all boat trips into Cheow Lan Lake. -
Boat Ride to the Trailhead
From the pier, take a long-tail boat for about one hour across the scenic lake to the ranger station near Huai Tham Chan area – the starting point of the nature trail leading to the cave. -
Jungle Trekking
Follow a forest trail of approximately 1.5 kilometers, passing through lush rainforest until you reach a bamboo raft platform near the cave entrance. -
Bamboo Raft and Short Hike
Board a bamboo raft or cross a short walkway to the opposite bank, then hike a few minutes up gentle limestone steps to reach the mouth of the cave. -
Exploring the Cave
Inside the cave, visitors can admire striking stalactites and stalagmites resembling coral formations. A park ranger will guide you through the narrow passages and explain the natural history.
