THIS IS HOME.
We don’t just operate in Khao Sok. We live and work here.
Khao Sok Is More Than a Destination to Us
Khao Sok is where we live, work, and spend our days.
Khao Sok Travel was built around a simple idea: the best way to experience this place is with people who know it from being here.
We design and operate our journeys locally, drawing on our knowledge of the rainforest, Cheow Lan Lake, the seasons, the routes, and the people who make each journey possible.
Our role is not simply to take you from one place to another. It is to help you experience Khao Sok in a way that makes sense for the place, the conditions, and the time you have here.
Our Story
Built here, one journey at a time.
Khao Sok Travel grew from years of working directly with travellers in Khao Sok — guiding, arranging boats and transfers, solving problems on the ground, and learning what makes a journey here work well.
Over time, that experience became something more: a local team built around the people we trust — guides, boat captains, drivers, accommodation partners, and communities across Khao Sok and Cheow Lan Lake.
Today, we still work the same way. We stay close to the operation, know the people behind each journey, and design our trips from what we see and learn here every day.

What Local Knowledge Changes
Being based here changes how we plan, operate, and adapt every journey.
We Know the Conditions
Weather, water levels, seasons and trail conditions can change the experience. We plan with what is actually happening here, not just what is written in an itinerary.
We Know the Routes
From the rainforest to Cheow Lan Lake, we understand how routes, timing and travel distances affect the day — and when a different approach makes more sense.
We Know the People
We work directly with local guides, boat captains, drivers and accommodation partners we know and trust.
We Can Adapt
Not every day in Khao Sok runs exactly to plan. When conditions change, our local team can adjust the journey while you are here.

Our Knowledge Comes From the Field
What we know comes from working here, day after day.
Khao Sok cannot be understood from an itinerary alone. Conditions change with the season, the rain, the water and the forest.
Our knowledge grows from being here — from guides walking the trails, boat teams crossing Cheow Lan Lake, drivers moving between routes, and our operations team coordinating journeys every day.
What we learn in the field feeds back into how we plan the next journey.
