From Daylight Into the Night
Experience two very different sides of Khao Sok in one journey.
Begin in the afternoon with your private local guide, following rainforest trails beneath the canopy and making your way to a secluded waterfall. Along the way, there is time to slow down, look for wildlife and experience the forest while there is still daylight.
As evening approaches, enjoy a simple jungle meal prepared using bamboo and traditional local methods. Then, as darkness settles over Khao Sok, continue into the forest with flashlights to look for frogs, reptiles, insects and other nocturnal wildlife that is rarely noticed during the day.

3:00 PM — Meet Your Local Guide
Meet your private guide at your hotel in the Khao Sok area and prepare for the afternoon trek.
Enter Khao Sok National Park
Begin walking beneath the rainforest canopy. Your guide will set the pace according to trail conditions and take time to point out plants, wildlife and smaller details along the way.
Hidden Waterfall
Continue deeper into the forest towards a secluded waterfall. Depending on weather and water conditions, there may be time to swim, cool off or simply relax beside the water.
Bamboo Cooking in the Jungle
As the afternoon turns to evening, stop in the forest for a simple meal prepared using bamboo and traditional local cooking methods.
After Dark — Night Wildlife Search
Once darkness settles over the rainforest, switch on the flashlights and continue with your guide. Look along leaves, tree trunks and the forest floor for frogs, lizards, insects, spiders and other nocturnal wildlife.
Return to Your Hotel
Finish the trek in the evening around 9:30 PM and transfer back to your hotel in the Khao Sok area.
