Every night is different, but you may encounter frogs, spiders, insects, snakes, geckos, sleeping birds, slow lorises, civets, and many other nocturnal creatures native to Khao Sok National Park.

Is this suitable for children?

Yes. Children can join when accompanied by an adult. We generally recommend this activity for children aged 5 and above who enjoy walking in nature.

Wear lightweight clothing, closed-toe shoes or hiking shoes, and insect repellent. Long trousers are recommended for extra comfort.

Your Night Trek Journey

7:00 PM — Meet Your Guide

Meet your local guide at the entrance to Khao Sok National Park before setting out on foot.

Enter the Forest After Dark

Follow the trail into the rainforest as your guide begins searching along leaves, tree trunks, streams and the forest floor.

Walk the Forest Trails

Move slowly along the trail, stopping when your guide spots frogs, insects, spiders, lizards or other nocturnal wildlife.

Return from the Trail

Finish the walk and return to the national park entrance at approximately 9:00–9:30 PM.
