Located along the route towards Khao Sok, Fish Cave is a small cave and stream area known for the freshwater fish living around it. It offers a short nature stop before reaching the main Khao Sok area.

About Fish Cave

Fish Cave, also known as Wat Tham Pla, is a small cave-temple and stream area located along the route towards Khao Sok. Unlike Coral Cave, Diamond Cave and Nam Talu Cave, it is not part of a journey across Cheow Lan Lake.

The area is known for the freshwater fish living in the stream and pools around the limestone setting. It is usually visited as a short nature and cultural stop rather than as a major cave expedition.

A Different Cave Experience

Fish Cave offers a very different experience from the caves around Cheow Lan Lake. There is no longtail boat journey across the reservoir. Instead, the attraction combines a limestone setting, temple surroundings and freshwater fish in an easily accessible stop on the way towards Khao Sok.
