Seen from above, Cheow Lan Lake reveals the scale and stillness that make this part of Khao Sok so distinctive. Longtail boats appear small against the vast green water, while limestone mountains and rainforest frame the lake in every direction.
Cheow Lan Lake was created by the Ratchaprapha Dam and today serves as the gateway to floating stays, wildlife excursions, cave visits, kayaking and journeys into the quieter reaches of the reservoir. The aerial perspective captures both the beauty of the landscape and the sense of remoteness that defines a journey here.
