About Us – The Story of Chef Nu

From dishwasher to restaurateur, Chef Nu’s journey is one of passion and perseverance. Starting at 16 in Phuket, he fell in love with Italian cuisine and mastered the art of wood-fired pizza. After the tsunami in 2004, he returned home to open a small eatery near Khao Sok National Park, later recognized by Lonely Planet for its authentic flavors.

Today, Chef Nu leads Chao Italian Pizzeria by Chef Nu, now with four thriving branches. Each dish reflects his dedication to quality ingredients, family values, and the belief that food should be crafted with heart and shared with joy.
