Moments of Stillness Beside the Quiet Lake

A boat bow makes a fine place to watch the limestone towers draw closer. These photographs from a Praiwan Rafthouse stay move between open water, shaded cave walls and views shared side by side.
This visit included Praiwan Rafthouse on Cheow Lan Lake. In the gallery, two travellers sit at the front of a wooden boat as steep cliffs rise behind them, then appear inside a cave with torchlight catching the rock. Other frames look forward across the water or back towards the shore, giving the collection a mix of close-up details and wider lake scenery.
