3 Days 2 Nights Khao Sok & Cheow Lan Lake – Baan Rim Fai & Praiwan

This private journey combines time in the Khao Sok rainforest with river activities before continuing to Cheow Lan Lake. Transfers, activities, local guide services and the lake journey are coordinated as one trip by our Khao Sok team.

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 — KHAO SOK & RIVER EXPERIENCE

Pick up from Surat Thani Airport, Surat Thani Train Station, or your hotel and transfer to Khao Sok.

Check in at Baan Rim Fai Homestay, surrounded by the forest and limestone landscape of Khao Sok.

During the day:

• ATV ride through the Khao Sok countryside

• Bamboo rafting along the river

• Time to enjoy the rainforest surroundings

• Lunch and dinner

• Overnight at Baan Rim Fai Homestay

DAY 2 — CHEOW LAN LAKE & PRAIWAN RAFTHOUSE

After breakfast, travel from Khao Sok to Ratchaprapha Pier, the main departure point for Cheow Lan Lake.

Board your private longtail boat and cruise across the lake, passing the limestone cliffs and Khao Sam Kler (Three Brothers) before continuing deeper into Cheow Lan Lake.

Check in at Praiwan Rafthouse and have lunch overlooking the lake.

The afternoon program includes a visit to Pakarang Cave (Coral Cave). The route includes a short forest walk and bamboo raft crossing before reaching the cave.

Later, return to Praiwan and head out by boat for an evening wildlife safari. Wildlife sightings vary naturally, but the forest around the lake is home to hornbills, monkeys and many other species.

Dinner and overnight at Praiwan Rafthouse.

DAY 3 — MORNING SAFARI & RETURN

Start early with a morning boat safari, when the lake is usually quieter and conditions are good for observing the forest and birdlife along the shoreline.

Return to the rafthouse for breakfast, followed by free time for swimming or kayaking.

Check out from Praiwan Rafthouse and travel by private longtail boat back to Ratchaprapha Pier.

Continue by road transfer to Surat Thani Airport, Surat Thani Train Station, or your hotel.
