The Cliff & River Jungle Resort, locally known as Phupha & Lamthan Resort, sits away from the busier centre of Khao Sok, surrounded by forest, limestone mountains and the Sok River.
The resort is spread across a large natural setting, with wooden bungalows positioned through gardens and along the hillside. Its location is the main reason to stay here: mornings are quiet, the surrounding cliffs feel close, and during the wetter months low cloud and mist often settle around the mountains.
It is a good choice for travellers who prefer more space and natural surroundings rather than staying directly in Khao Sok village.

A Quieter Side of Khao Sok
The Cliff & River Jungle Resort is located along Highway 401, outside the main Khao Sok village area.

This means restaurants and shops are not immediately outside the property in the same way they are around the national park entrance, but the trade-off is a much more open setting with mountains, gardens and river scenery.
