The Journey into Khlong Saeng
An illustrated boat route toward the Khlong Saeng side of Cheow Lan Lake.

Travelling into the Khlong Saeng Side of the Lake
Beyond the familiar sightseeing areas of Cheow Lan Lake, the waterways stretch toward quieter forested valleys. The Khlong Saeng side of the reservoir is associated with longer boat journeys, a stronger sense of remoteness and opportunities to experience the lake as part of a much larger protected landscape.
This illustration labels several branches and reference points, including Khlong Yee, Khlong Mon, Khlong Lung, Khlong Pey and Khlong Ka. These names help show how the lake divides into distinct corridors. A line drawn across the water may look direct on a map, but the actual boat journey follows the shape of the reservoir and depends on the chosen destination and current conditions.
Travellers interested in wildlife often ask about this part of the lake. Forest edges and quieter waterways can be rewarding places to observe nature, but wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. A trip here should be planned around realistic travel time, the time of day and any access requirements. See our Cheow Lan Lake guide for the wider context, or compare this route with the floating resorts map when considering an overnight stay.
The yellow route on the artwork is an illustrative journey line, not a recorded GPS track. It should not be used for navigation or treated as confirmation of access to any particular waterway.
